A Tool for Set Dec Buyers
Snap it. Mark it. Tag it.
Free. No account, nothing to download from an app store.
You're at a prop house with forty photos to send the decorator, and every one of them needs to say where you found it.
TAGit stamps that information onto the photo itself — vendor, area, row, dimensions, quantity, notes — and saves it to your camera roll.
Everything stays on your phone. No account, no sign-in, no server holding your buys.
There's nothing to download. It lives at a web address, and iPhone lets you keep it as an icon like any other app.
It has to be Safari. Chrome on iPhone can't add home screen icons.
The green button at the top of this page.
The square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
Then Add in the top right.
The icon appears with your other apps. Opening it from there hides the address bar, so it fills the screen like a normal app.
Open the app in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu, then Add to Home screen.
Choose a prop house from the list. Twenty-nine are built in, and you can add any that's missing.
Tap the green button. Shoot in the app rather than pulling from your library — you'll get a much higher resolution photo that holds up when you zoom in.
Area, row, dimensions, quantity, notes. Leave anything blank and it simply won't appear on the tag.
Tap Save to Photos and the iOS share sheet opens. Scroll down past the row of apps to the list of actions and tap Save Image. The photo lands in your camera roll, the fields clear for the next item, and your area and row stay put.
Tap ⚙ Style to change where the tag sits, how big it is, light card or dark, the typeface, and the accent color. The photo stays the hero — the tag shrinks to fit whatever you typed.
Apple doesn't let any outside app write to your camera roll without you confirming it. That's a rule for every app, not a limitation of this one.
Your vendor list and settings are saved on your own phone. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is shared between people using the app, and no one else can see your buys.
Send a coworker the link and they get their own vendor list and their own settings. Nothing syncs between you.
A prop house that should be on the list, a field you keep wishing for, anything that doesn't work — it's genuinely useful to hear.
Email about TAGitIf something's broken, it helps to say which iPhone you're on and what you tapped just before it happened.
